Replay Converter 3 beta: Video file to standard DVD disk for home use

Replay Converter 3 beta

What:
Converting a video file to standard DVD disk to be played back
on home tv set and DVD player

Instructions here are to send a .wmv video file to a DVD blank
disk.

Insert blank DVD disk that your DVD burner supports.

1. Run Replay Converter 3
2. Choose the Add Files button with spacebar
3. Locate the .wmv file in the standard Open dialog box
4. Press spacebar on the open button within this dialog box when
done adding the file
5. Shift Tab until you hear the listbox view
6. Review the listbox contents
7. The path of the video file is in this listbox
8. Shift Tab until you hear Convert Audio button
9. Down arrow until you hear Burn button
10. Press spacebar on Burn button.
11. Tab one time and press control key to silence JAWS speech
output temporarily
12. Choose Burn To DVD
13. Press tab key one time
14. You are on the Start Conversion Job button
15. Spacebar on the Start Conversion Job button.
16. Burn To Disk Dialog Screen

NTSC is the default. North America.
Tab to the Burn button and spacebar on the Burn Button.

Screen text looks like this:

Burn To Disc
bitrate: (Range: 1000 Kbps to 9800 Kbps) Video Format:
5000 NTSC - North AmericaKbps
Use lower bitrates for lower quality input video
Video Aspect: Save Temp files
Don't use
Status: Ready

17. Nothing is on your screen now.
18. Do a Windows logo key plus M to minimize to the desktop
19. Tab to the taskbar tray and open the Burn To Disk icon with
your enter key
20. The Burn To Disk Dialog appears
21. To read this dialog you use insert b or your JAWS cursor
22. Look for the "Status" text
23. An example of this is

24. When the conversion is done you will see

The SPTI radio button is the default option.
Tab to the Next Button and spacebar

SCSI Transport
The SCSI transport is a method to access devices.
Select SCSI transport you want to use for device access:
SPTI - SCSI Pass Through Interface
Preferable for most DVD burners.
ASPI - Advanced SCSI Programming Interface
Older interface transport. Use if SPTI doesn't work.

25. Burn To Disk New Screen appears

Important step here if you have more than one burner on your
system. Choose the correct burner. I

have selected my DVD RW burner and notice the media type is
listed as "blank" for it.

26. Burning Mode Screen appears

Choose Next button

The screen looks like this

Burning Mode
You can choose burning mode.
Burning mode is the way of burning data to CD/DVD media.
Burning mode: Track-At-Once
Test mode does everything as in normal burning process, but with
the device laser
turned off. It allows to test the Audio CD compilation for
errors.
Test mode (simulate burning)
Note: The default options will work 99% of the time. Change
these only if you have
problems burning discs.

27. New Screen

Burning Options
You can choose various burning options.
Sending Optimum Power Calibration (OPC) calibrates the device
laser power at the
beginning of burning session to adjust for the properties of
each recordable disc.
Send optimum power calibration (OPC)
Most Disc burners will work properly at the highest speed. If
you're having trouble
playing discs, try using a slower burn speed.
Burning speed: 2.4x (3324 KB/sec)

28. New Screen: Options Summary


Choose next button to start the burn.

29. The Burning Screen

Note: Progress percentages are heard if you do not hit your
control key. You can use home and end

keys to go up and down the log details or progress details. When
progress announcement goes

silent press insert b to hear the percentage rate like 97 %. Be
patient. The disk will eject for

you if the burn was successful.

31. Final Screen

You can spacebar on the Save Log button to create a log of this
burn. Name the file and save.
Choose Finish button.

Notes:
If the screen disappears on you do a windows key plus m to
minimize to the desktop and then go to
the taskbar tray and find the icon and press the enter key on
the icon. You have the dialog back
on your screen now.

It is a very simple program to use.
